Housing Partnership Network (HPN) is pleased to support the House’s revised version of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act (H.R. 6644) . We urge the House and Senate to quickly pass this bipartisan bill to address housing affordability in this country.

The revised legislation builds on the important work done by the Senate in the earlier version of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act and reflects a sustained bipartisan effort to address the nation’s housing supply and affordability challenges. We are particularly pleased to see the inclusion of important provisions that will modernize the HOME Investment Partnerships Program, allow for increased investment in the Housing Credit and make other common-sense improvements to existing housing programs.

HPN thanks Chairman French Hill, Ranking Member Maxine Waters, Congressman Mike Flood, Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, Chairman Tim Scott and Ranking Member Elizabeth Warren for their leadership on this very important issue. We urge swift passage of this legislation and look forward to continuing to work with all the housing champions in Congress moving forward to continue to improve our housing system.
