Member Call for Ideas

HPN has long partnered with members to turn ideas into action. This Call for Ideas continues that tradition, helping us source innovations that address today’s challenges and opportunities.

Members, whether you're piloting a new system, scaling a successful model, or exploring a bold new approach, we want to hear from you!

Submit your ideas by Dec. 19 and join office hours on Dec. 11 to learn more. We’ll also be available during the Member Exchange in San Diego for in-person conversations.

We’ve been listening!

Members are facing a multitude of challenges; we want to focus on solutions and support innovations that address them.

Based on input from the Network in Denver and ongoing peer exchange, we’re especially interested in learning about innovative approaches that align with these themes:

• Technology: Tools that enhance property management, asset development, or resident services.
• Network Information Sharing: Systems that help members benchmark costs, staffing models, or performance data.
• Capacity Building & Technical Assistance: Approaches that strengthen operational capacity or support adoption of new tools.
• Resident Services & Retention: Strategies that expand access to resources and improve resident stability
• Sustainability & Energy Efficiency: Tools and approaches that create resilient buildings, reduce operational expenses and improve resident health and comfort

Why Participate?

Past member-led ideas have led to the creation of impactful social enterprises like Housing Partnership Insurance Exchange (HPIEx) and Framework Homeownership.
