Meaghan McCarthy

Meaghan McCarthy joined Housing Partnership Network (HPN) in May 2019 and serves as Executive Vice President, Network Engagement and Housing Solutions. As a member of HPN's executive leadership team, she provides strategic direction for the organization's membership, peer exchange, policy, resident empowerment and wealth building, and housing sustainability programs. Her work focuses on strengthening member engagement, fostering collaboration, and advancing housing solutions informed by the experience and expertise of HPN's network.

Previously, McCarthy served as Vice President, Affordable Housing and Consumer Empowerment, leading initiatives focused on housing counseling, homeownership, resident services, and economic mobility.

Before joining HPN, McCarthy worked in Rental Business Development at MassHousing, where she originated loans and contributed to the design and implementation of a subordinate debt program. Earlier in her career, she served as a budget and policy analyst on the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, working on federal housing and community development programs. She began her career at the Children's Defense Fund.

McCarthy holds a bachelor's degree in government from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University with a concentration in real estate. She also serves on the board of Compass Working Capital.
