Founded in 1989, Housing Partnership, Inc. (HPI) is the leading housing organization in Louisville and the greater metropolitan area. Forging strong partnerships with local and regional government, private banks, homebuilders and non-profits agencies, HPI engages in large-scale initiatives in home development, tax credit consulting, and homebuyer education and counseling. Since the inception of the low income housing tax credit program, the Housing Partnership has assisted non-profits develop more than 50 multifamily properties with more than 2,000 units. In addition, HPI is collaborating with local homebuilders to develop four single-family subdivisions to provide affordable homeownership to more than 1,000 families. HPI also offers comprehensive financial counseling and homebuyer education low- and moderate-income families.
