Established in 1975 (initially called Virginia Mountain Housing) Community Housing Partners Corporation (CHPC) assists low-income families and individuals with their housing, economic and social needs. It provides sustainable, affordable housing, resident services, homeownership op¬portunities and wealth building programs, working through public and private partnerships to enable people and communities to become self-sufficient, successful and sustainable. To date, CHPC owns and/or manages 4,000+ rental units, employs more than 300 staff, and has served more than 150,000 individuals. Currently, CHPC controls $200 million in assets with annual revenues of over $45 million.
