Founded in 1983, NCB Capital Impact’s primary mission is to provide financial solutions to social and economic problems that plague underserved, low-income communities. NCB Capital Impact is a leader in community development finance and combines financial and development services. The organization is the nonprofit, development finance affiliate of NCB (formerly the National Cooperative Bank). Since its inception, NCB Capital Impact’s loans and investments have created 32,000 affordable homes; 15,000 jobs for low-income individuals; more than 94,000 school seats; more than 8,700 affordable assisted living units for frail elderly; and nearly 2.4 million square feet of community health center space serving 350,000 patients annually. NCB Capital Impact’s primary mission is to provide financial solutions to social and economic problems that plague underserved, low-income communities.
