National Church Residences (NCR) was formed in 1961 by the Reverend John R. Glenn and four Ohio Presbyterian churches to address the housing, social, and human needs of older adults. Today, NCR is recognized as a national leader in the nonprofit industry, providing affordable housing, health care, assisted living, and supportive services to modest-income seniors and families throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. NCR owns and manages 17,000 apartments, and manages an additional 4,000 owned by others.
